The Department of Management Sciences

The Department of Management Sciences delivers a portfolio of teaching, research, and service activities in two broadly defined areas for the Fisher College.

The Decision Sciences group includes faculty providing academic program support in the technical fields of business statistics and operations research. The Operations Management faculty teach and conduct research in the areas of manufacturing and service operations. Academic majors are offered at the undergraduate, MBA, and PhD levels in Operations Management.

Fisher’s undergraduate program rose to 8th in the 2009 U.S. News and World Report rankings, dated February 26, 2009 up from 12th in 2008.
